Study Genesis 1:1-5 and Bible Verses A-C. Scholars will be tested on Genesis 1:1-5 and Bible Verses A, B, and C on Wednesday, August 30th.
Scholars may bring their science books, history books, and Bible readers home daily to strengthen their learning. Currently, they are studying the first chapter of the textbooks and the book of Genesis in the Bible reader. The scholars are responsible for bringing the books back and forth daily. Quarter 1 Objectives
TLW:
- Recognize and write complete sentences
- Identify types of sentences declarative, interrogative, exclamatory, and imperative.
- Review capitalization rules
- Review punctuation for all types of sentences
- Learn how to make and identify proofreader marks: capitalization/ inserting punctuation
- Learn to correct run-on sentences and how to write compound sentences.
