Dear Parents,
As a reminder, Senior K through 3rd Grade scholars will take the Stanford Achievement Test this week, Monday, April 17th through Friday, April 21st. Parents, we humbly ask that you partner with us in ensuring that your scholar gets adequate rest each night, has a nutritious & balanced breakfast, and arrives at school each day in plenty of time.
Additionally, we ask that you limit screen time before bed to avoid any sleep disturbances with your scholar. We ask that you allow your scholar to refrain from eating foods or beverages high in sugar, as excess sugar impairs cognitive and self-control skills. BOLPA will serve breakfast daily at 8:00 AM. Please have your scholar in attendance at this time to ensure that they have plenty of time to eat breakfast. Even if your scholar eats breakfast at home, we ask that they arrive by 8:30 AM each day to ensure they have plenty of time to unpack, use the restroom, and prepare for testing. Lastly, please know that we are standing on the word of God, and we ask that you speak life over your scholar each day as you motivate them to do their best. Parents, in addition to encouraging them at home, you may send notes for them to read before testing or send encouraging video messages to your scholar’s teacher that they will share with the class.
- Philippians 4:13. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
- 2 Corinthians 2:14. “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.”
- Hebrews 13:6. “So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.”
- Psalm 119:99–100. “I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the aged, for I keep your precepts.”
Thank you for partnering with us to make this a smooth and excellent week of testing!

Amendment to Elementary Attendance Policy Effective Immediately Effective immediately, all elementary scholars must arrive at school early enough to enter their classroom by 9:00 AM. If scholars are not received by their teacher at 9:00 AM, they will be marked tardy. Arriving at the school’s entrance at 9:00 AM will result in a tardy mark. |
Elementary Attendance Policy Parents, we appreciate advance notice of early dismissal; however, please let us know when you arrive on campus for your scholar to be called to the front office. Scholars will not pack up and leave class prior to your arrival. As a reminder, the cut-off time for early dismissal is 3:30 PM. If you have not arrived on campus and contacted the office by 3:30 PM, your scholar will not be dismissed early. Also, note that five unexcused absences/tardies equal one unexcused absence. Thank you for adhering to our policy. |
Carline Reminders As a reminder, please keep your window lowered while in the carline during dismissal so that we may easily and quickly identify you. As a reminder, we ask that you move into a parking space to buckle your scholar in so we can move expeditiously. Parents are asked not to go around other vehicles in the car line for safety reasons. We ask that you patiently wait for the vehicle ahead of you to pull off before the next vehicle moves. |
