I hope this letter finds you and your family doing well. Your scholar has been making great progress in their cursive handwriting over the past two weeks. We’ve had a lot of fun in class, and I believe your scholar is enjoying the process. Scholars have already started practicing writing the cursive letters a, e, i, o, and u, as well as their names in cursive and the numbers 1-10.
To continue to help your scholar progress, I encourage you to practice cursive formation with them at home. Please find the cursive formation guide in your scholar’s binder and attached below. In class, I create a relaxing and enjoyable space for writing, and I would appreciate it if you could help me mirror that environment at home. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am happy to support.
