Greeting Parents,

As we’ve moved further into the semester, scholars now have cursive penmanship practice homework. Regular penmanship lessons will continue in class; however, we are now moving deeper into grammar and creative writing! Scholars will receive their homework/practice packet each Wednesday, which will be due the following Wednesday, allowing ample time to complete all work carefully. Additionally, scholars will have some time in class to work on their practice packets; therefore, I ask that you help your scholar to keep their work in the blue divider in their binder. Scholars will begin journaling, composing paragraphs, and completing basic research projects this quarter.

I am thrilled about what will take place this quarter! Remember, our poem recitation is next Thursday, November 10th, and starting next week, scholars will test on Thursdays only. Again, all words can be found online and in your scholar’s binder/spelling book. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
